As this is an entry-level course for first-semester GBSN students, there are no formal nursing prerequisites or prior clinical experience required. The curriculum is intentionally designed to be the “ground zero” of the nursing program, welcoming learners from diverse academic backgrounds. Students only need general admission to the BSN program and a readiness to build a professional foundation in clinical science and patient-centered care from day one.
